THE AMAZING BENEFITS OF YOGA INVERSIONS

I love inversions. I think they are fun and challenging and that is why I normally add them into my daily yoga practice. But when I learn that inversions can actually help you physically and mentally I did not want to miss a day without putting myself upside down at least for just a few breaths a day.

The shift in perspective and intermuscular awareness changes totally the way we perceive the world and us while reversing the effects of gravity in the body. The brain is flushed with nourishing blood, the mind clears and the nerves quiets down. This provides a sense of stillness that helps set a gentle inducement into meditation.
